Fantasy War Rooms

Privacy Policy

Effective October 8, 2026

The short version

Fantasy War Rooms ("we", "us") runs fantasywarrooms.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, why, and which other companies are involved. You can reach us at logan@fantasywarrooms.com.

What we collect and why

Your league

Sleeper. When you enter a Sleeper username, your browser asks Sleeper's public service for that account's leagues, rosters, transactions, draft results and weekly scores. That information is worked on inside your browser. It is not sent to or stored on our servers, with one exception described under "AI analyst questions" below.

MyFantasyLeague and Fleaflicker. These services do not let a web page ask for a league directly, so when you enter a league ID our server fetches that league for you and passes it to your browser. We keep a copy for ten minutes, so repeat visits do not hammer their servers, and then discard it. The league's completed trades, and the results of a draft when a traded pick has been used, are fetched and discarded the same way. We count how many leagues are loaded from each service, but not which ones.

So the site remembers you, your browser's local storage on your own device holds the username or league ID you entered, the league and team you picked, your settings, last week's power rankings for your league (so the page can show who moved), and the useful / not useful ratings you give to trade and waiver ideas. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it.

League passes

A league pass belongs to one league, so for each pass we store which service hosts that league, the league's ID and the league's name, next to the buyer's subscription record. When you open a league, your browser asks our server whether that league holds a pass, naming the league's host and ID, and for a Sleeper league the ID of the league it continues from last season. We answer and keep no record of the question. If a Sleeper league that holds a pass renews for a new season, our server asks Sleeper to confirm that the new league continues the old one, and the pass moves with it.

Questions asked under a pass are counted for the league each month and for each person each day. The daily count uses the same one-day visitor code described under "Visit counts", so it does not identify you and is deleted the next day.

Ratings

When you mark a trade or waiver idea Useful or Not useful, your browser uses that to tune your own rankings. It also sends our server the rating and the idea's scores, which are a short list of numbers such as how much the deal favours youth or fills a need. No league, team, player or username goes with them. Our server folds those numbers into shared weights that improve the starting rankings for everyone, and does not keep the individual rating. Nothing is sent if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

Shared trades

If you use Share on a trade, the link and picture you get contain that trade, your league's name and the two team names. They are built in your browser and the details travel inside the link itself; nothing is stored on our servers. Anyone you send the link to can see them.

The same goes for a trade your league has already made, and for the power rankings picture, which is drawn in your browser and shows your league's name, the team names and their records.

The trade calculator works entirely in your browser. A trade you build there is kept only in the page's address, which is how its link shares it.

An invite link for your league contains only which service hosts the league and the league's ID. It says nothing about who made it.

Visit counts

We count visits without cookies. For each visit our server combines the date, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string into a one-way code that cannot be turned back into your IP address. The code is used only to avoid counting the same visitor twice in a day to limit repeated form, payment and rating attempts, and to apply the daily question limit under a league pass. The codes are deleted the following day. We keep only daily totals, such as the number of visitors, page loads and leagues linked.

We also count which site a visit came from, by name only (for example "reddit"), or the tag on the link you followed. The full address you came from is not stored.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, your visit is not counted.

Your email address

If you sign up for the weekly email or join a waitlist, we store your email address, which list you joined and the date. We use it only to send what you asked for. The weekly email is sent automatically once a week. Every such email has an unsubscribe link that works with one click, and you can also write to logan@fantasywarrooms.com.

Subscriptions and payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us the email address you used at checkout, a customer and subscription reference, your plan, its status and its renewal date. We store those on our servers so the site knows whether your subscription is active and so we can help you if something goes wrong. Fuller billing records, such as your name, billing postcode and the last four digits of your card, stay in our Stripe account.

The access key you receive after subscribing is saved in your browser, and we email it to the address you used at checkout so you have a copy. If you ask for a replacement key, we email that to the same address. Our servers keep only a scrambled (hashed) form of each key, plus a count of how many questions your subscription has used each day and month.

Player alerts

If you subscribe to Pro and turn on player alerts, we store the league you turned them on for (its host and number, and its name), the site's ID numbers of the players on your roster there, and the facts we last emailed you about each of them (injury listing, team, games played, trade value), so we can tell what changed. Your page sends us your current roster whenever you open that league, so the list follows your trades and pickups. Alerts go to the email address on your subscription, at most once a day. Turning alerts off on the site, or using the unsubscribe link in any alert, stops them straight away.

If you buy a league pass, there is no key. We email the address you used at checkout a confirmation with the link to send your league-mates.

For a one-time contribution, our own servers record only that a contribution was made and its amount. The payment record, including the email address you enter, is held in our Stripe account.

AI analyst questions

When a subscriber, or someone whose league holds a league pass, asks the AI analyst a question, your browser sends us the question together with the league information needed to answer it: the league's name and settings, your roster and draft picks, the other teams' names, records and top players, the highest-ranked trade and waiver ideas, your approach and recent ratings, and recent headlines. A follow-up question also carries the last few questions and answers from that conversation, which your browser holds until you leave the page. We pass this to Anthropic, the company whose Claude model writes the answer, and send the answer back to you. To answer, the analyst may also look up players, schedules and prospects in the site's own published data; those lookups contain nothing about you. We do not store your questions or the answers on our servers; we record only how many questions were asked, how much text was processed, and, if you mark an answer helpful or not helpful, a count of those marks. Please do not put sensitive personal information in a question.

Technical logs

Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes your IP address and basic request details (the page requested, the time, your browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and keeps short-lived logs of requests to our server.

Other companies involved

We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the site, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.

Cookies and local storage

Fantasy War Rooms does not set cookies. It uses your browser's local storage, which stays on your device, to remember the items listed above and, for subscribers, the access key.

How long we keep it

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights over your personal information. We will honor any request the law requires us to.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. You must be 18 or older to buy a subscription or make a contribution.

Where information is processed

We are based in the United States. The companies listed above may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, access keys are stored only in scrambled form, and we collect as little as we can. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant we will also say so on the site.
